Thank you very much for stopping by, and for your interest in 1712 Consulting, LLC.

Over the course of my 35-year career in the financial services industry, including 20 years working with family offices, I have had the great fortune to help families start something new, or transform something that needed new life. Today, I am doing just that with the launch of my consulting firm dedicated to new beginnings or transitions for my clients.

As part of my efforts, I am focused on the following areas where I believe my skills and my experience can add value to an office or family – or even a firm seeking greater opportunities in this unique business arena:

• Supporting families that are contemplating the establishment of a new office. I have extensive experience in building-out operational functions; preparing cost-benefit analyses; conducting vendor searches; creating mission, vision and value statements; and quarterbacking the sequencing of tasks.

• Working with existing offices that are looking to transform or evolve to support future generations. As families evolve so must the family office that serves them. I co-authored the first family office eBook series titled “Evolving the Family Office”, and have worked with families to consider new ways to create scale and efficiency, without sacrificing the client experience.

• Supporting wealth management firms and large RIAs ready to learn about and expand to a new market. I have an appreciation for the services and needs of the ultra-wealthy, and how to deliver services to these clients in a scalable and efficient manner to help grow and support your business.

• Helping families and offices with executive coaching assignments. I have spent over 30 years managing and coaching professionals and will be completing my Executive Coaching Certificate with Newfield Network this year. I can support your needs around professional development, succession planning or deepening networks and skills.

Of all my experiences, the ones that were the most rewarding have been those where I was able to help families solve complex problems or accelerate growth initiatives.

With my deep background working in larger organizations across multiple stakeholders, I can bring my experience designing business processes with a collaborative approach. My sincere hope is that my extensive experience can be put to use to help you succeed, providing insights to bring your business to the next phase – whatever that may be.
